The Sad Truth Of Being An Employee

In reality... You go to school, 2yrs Nursery + 2yrs Kindergarten + 6 yrs Elementary + 4 yrs in High School + 4 yrs in College, for a total of 18 years only to become a worker for other people for the rest of your life? We don't learn how to be successful in school so most people are programmed how to serve others and do their job well so they can earn money to spend for their own needs. Now, you’re very lucky, you got a job and a monthly salary of P10,000. Meaning, in 10 years, you can save P1,200,000.00! Wow!! That's a lot of money! Can this buy a car? YES! Can this buy a house? YES!! Ahem, ahem…Hold on one moment. With this money, you can buy a car and a house IF: for 10 years, you eat in your neighbor, you take a bath in your neighbor, you use your neighbor's shampoo and toothpaste, you iron your uniform or office wear in your neighbor and you will just walk every single day going to the office. In short, you will not spend a single peso from your salary. Can you really save P10,000 a month? In reality, the income of an average wage earner is not enough. So, what really happens when you receive your salary? Is your income enough to pay for your necessities? If it’s not enough, what will be the most logical thing to do? Borrow money, 5/6, pawn your ATM and other valuables or bury yourself in debt. Once you receive your salary, pay back the debt. Once you’ve paid it off, what’s left of the money is not enough. Again get into the debt!…It becomes a vicious cycle. Employment is good but we need cash. What if you got sick? Had an accident which made you unable to work anymore? What if you suddenly got fired? Do you have a plan B? We are not talking about money here. We are talking about the TIME that you can save instead of working for 10 years–and away from your family. “Your FUTURE is created by what you do TODAY… NOT TOMORROW” By now, you may may be thinking, "How can I stop this cycle and live the life that I truly deserve?" We all deserve to be successful. It is our birthright! There is a way to end poverty in our country. All we need is to learn how to work smart and not just work hard. Open you mind to opportunities. Don't be afraid to take risk and most of all don't be afraid to fail. Let us all learn from our experiences and make our lives better.
